Huge selection, plenty of clothes, books, housewares and they have a huge Halloween selection when it is in season. The problem? Outrageously overpriced. Since when did a USED paperback book become $4.99? Almost every other thrift store in Canada and the U.S. sells used paperbacks for $1 and most libraries sell them for .50. I get really annoyed when I see VV try to be a antique dealer as well. They will put what they think is a really expensive item in the glass case but they don't always do their research and will overprice an items as much as 500%. Customer service is OK at best. Some of the clerks are moody and you will only see 2 registers open, even on busy weekend days. What angers me is that they only give the donated items they decide not to sell to developing countries so most of their in store profits go to them. You best bet is to only shop here when they have their 50% off clothes sale or when they give you a 30% off card for your donations.

Some items can be very overpriced at times. Staff make an attempt to mark up "brand names" but prices can be totally outrageous and unjustified. Best selection in town none the less, always have new stock every day.

Pretty well organised for a thrift shop. Sometimes you won't find anything, other times you can find the best grandpa/knit sweaters ever. Cheap used cds that are good for car listening. Nice jackets and coats but they're way over priced for old used jackets. I've seen from 50-200$ which is ABSURD for a charity shop. Good for Halloween costumes. Free parking.

Worst staff experience. I found something I wanted that happened to be on the floor. It had no price on it so I brought it to the cash and asked how much it was and the cashier said it cannot be sold separately because it was supposed to be in a bag with other stuff. So she asked the manager and he said the same thing but in an aggressive tone. He as well told me it can’t be sold separately so it has to go back with the stuff it came with. So anyways he was walking towards the back of the building so I followed him figuring he was going to put in the bag where it belonged. But then I seen him go out back and he walked out with it just in a bag by itself with a price on it. So I followed him back to the cash and he hid it in behind the counter so I couldn’t get it. Like does he not want me to buy it? All they had to do was just give me a price for it and I would have paid for it. 100% the Salvation Army just down the road would have just gave me a price. Plan and simple. The manager must have just had nothing better to do with his time
