  Have used Neville’s in the past and always was greeted by a surly woman on the phone. Had stopped using them because of this until lately yesterday when the super friendly guy at Mt. Pearl Florists wasn’t answering his phone for a last minute Mother’s Day delivery. Ended up calling Neville’s and ordering with a lady who wasn’t the usual surly woman but still hardly someone you would call overly cheerful. Later that day I decided to add my brother to the greeting on the card and attempted to contact them but with time difference they had already closed and much to my surprise they had no way of leaving a message??? I emailed them the changes instead and when calling them them the next day at 3:30pm their time to confirm they got my email the infamous surly lady (who claims to be the manager) unapologetically and defiantly said they don’t have time to check emails on busy days. What a crock…no voicemail and don’t have a junior staff member that can take a few minutes to quickly scan emails at the start of a day for something that looks important. It’s people like this that do a disservice to my wonderful home province. Never will use them again.

  Have gone back you using Neville's simply because my Mother did prefer the arrangements over Mt. Pearl Florists.

  I’ve seen Stargazer lily’s in grocery store arrangements for under 20$! I can’t imagine why one couldn’t be included in a 70$ arrangement.

  Lady who answered phone this time abruptly blurted out "JJ Neviles please hold" and putting me on hold before she even finished speaking instead of simply asking "can you please hold" and waiting 1 second for my reply...come on I expect better from my fellow Newfoundlanders that have such a great reputation for friendliness.

  I called to order a mixed bouquet over the phone for delivery. Spent well over 70$ on these flowers. The gentleman who answered wasn't very friendly at all. I can forgive that. When I asked for a specific flower in the arrangement ( a stargazer lily) he laughed at me stating "not for that price".

  When my friend sent me a picture of what she received, I was shocked! The arrangement sent couldn’t have been worth more the 20$. It consisted of a few mums and carnations, with 1 single sprig of alstroemeria, no filler, 1 sprig of tree fern. Not a single rose or presentation flower to make it worth the price I paid.

  I couldn't believe the beautiful arrangement created on very short notice and delivered within a couple of hours after I called on Christmas Eve! My sister was so impressed she posted the photo on facebook. My mom's birthday on Christmas Day was extra special because of the efforts of the staff at Neville and Son's. Thank you so very much!
